A call by Gozareshgaran site condemning the terrible crime committed by the Islamic Republic of Iran, hanging 5 political prisoners
Enlightened and aware people of the world!
A terrible crime has been committed by the Islamic Republic. Five political activists and journalists had constantly been incarcerated and tortured under a long period in the medieval Islamic Republic prison. Even though an Iranian judge had informed one of the prisoner’s lawyer that they would to be released, the sudden of sudden and in a shocking move the prisoners were hanged. Killing and suppressing political opponents are the only endowments from the rulers of the Islamic Republic of Iran since they came to power. The tragic nightmare of death and the blood shedding of these Iranian youth and other political activists have no end. Farzad Kamangar, Shirin Alam Houly, Mehdi Eslamyan, Farhad Vakili, Ali Heydarian, are all the victims of violence and the malice of the leaders of the Islamic judicial system.
By such despicable acts, the rulers of the Islamic Republic of Iran intend to repress people and spread fear. According to Human Rights Watch, there are currently seventeen other prisoners who are at risk of immediate execution. The quick response from international community can intercept or prevent such crimes against humanity from being repeated.
Let’s break the silence and speak louder than ever! Let’s spread the cry for justice on behalf of their beloved family members and petition for them!
We, cultural, social and political activists, condemn this crime and would ask the state bodies of all international societies to condemn the Islamic Republic of Iran for such atrocities and demand a stop against continuation of such crimes even in the future.
We demand an immediate and independent investigation for this crime, either by human rights organizations and international organs or by people and organizations defending the political prisoners.
